CHAPTER -10

1.    New things that I have learnt from this chapter:
  1.     What is the core idea
  2.      How is it elaborated
  3.      How is it summarized
  4.    How is it transferred to write core idea
  5.       Meaning of logic
2. Things that I already known
  1.     Paragraph are the collection of sentences, it also has upper limit
  2.     When we shift from one core idea to other, we change the focus. It is arbitrary
  3.       Instruction is the process of teaching someone how to do something.
  4.     on certain thoughts can be made to stand out if they have their own paragraph.
3.  Mistakes made when answering the questions
  1.     Not able to understand the questions
  2.    My other team members got different answers from mine

4. Concept that I used in blog
    In my blog I wrote about Travel life. First I gave all about introduction only. Then I            went on explaining places that I have traveled.

5. Concept applied to other subjects:

In Financial accounting. We had to choose a company and had to answer the question about that company. Where we had to the see financial statement and evaluate the company.

CHAPTER -9

1.New things learnt
a.     Whole range of reinforcing double meanings contained in single word - metaphor
b.      Meaning of symbolism
c.       meaning of allegory
d.      Planned ambiguity is nothing but suspense
e.      Each of the picture word had only one meaning. As they are used over the century,            they picked up second, third and even more meaning.

2.Things that I already knew
a.      Use of suspense, wit, metaphors, symbolism, and allegory adds style t our writing.
b.      Different kind of meaning was chosen to give different effect
c.      Grammar imperceptibly blends into literature

3  Mistakes made when answering the questions
a.      I confused with some of the answers
b.      Not able to understand the questions

   4.  I understood that we should not use words repeatedly and minimizing the sentences.

   5.While writing assignments in other subjects, this concept helped me. I have avoided         the use words repeatedly

CHAPTER -8

1. Learning’s from chapter:
a  Without connecting word sentences are misunderstood.
b.  Process of building sentences which include the relationships we want to show                  between the sentences.
c. Images are immediately understood by the reader.
d.To remove the word that is causing misinterpretation in the flow of thoughts

2.Already learnt:
a. Condensing connector is a single word like him, her, them.
b. Grammar.
c. Communication is the act of transmitting our own understanding to reader.
d.Using a picture word.
e. Reader must know which of the image to use when in a sentence.

3. Mistake made during solving the problems:
a.Confused with connectors while framing the sentences.
b. Confused while changing from one image to other image.

4. Communication is the form of transmitting our thinking to make understandable to           someone else.
5. This concept I have used while preparing for presentations in other subjects

CHAPTER -7

          Learning’s from chapter:

a.      In the sentences, simplicity must be balanced with other less important sentences.
b.      Ways to avoid the monotony.
c.       If words used in the sentences are difficult, sentences must be short.
d.      If words are simple and image are visualized then the sentences can be longer.

 Already learnt:

a.      Sentence should be meaningful.
b.      Repetition gives the sentences more value and significance.
c.       Emphasis allows us to shorten the sentences.

    Mistakes  made during solving the problems:
                a.  Not concentrated much.
                b Confused while reading the questions.

Concept that I used in blog post that I already written:
Repeating important words, image each times helps to keep the attention of our reader throughout our article.

Concept applied to other subjects:

While preparing power point presentation in Business law, Communication , Marketing .            

CHAPTER - 6


1.        Learning’s from chapter:

  1.         Steps to simplify the sentence.
  2.         Connector gives stronger tie between the 2 or more word image.
  3.         To improve the misuse of the connector words.
  4.         Dependents are tool for simplification of your thoughts.
  5.         Repetition of words can be used to explain a process.
  6.          Repetition is a tool to eliminate overloaded sentence and overloaded images.


2. Already learnt:
  1.       If a sentence includes more connector words, then it is a simple sentence.
  2.       We can repeat the words to make the sentence simple.
  3.       Short sentence will give more clear emphasis to individual details.


3.        Mistakes  made during solving the problems:
a.         No much mistakes as we discussed the answers in group and wrote.

4.         Before when I wrote articles in my blog, I forgot to write the necessary fact about Temple. Which I included later in my blog posts.


5.         Not used this concept in any subject yet.

CHAPTER- 5

1.        Learning’s from chapter:
  1.      Adjusting the sentences to the length to give simplicity, clearness and emphasizing as we         want.
  2.           Any number of words can be used in the sentences.

2  Already learnt:
  1.   Sentence should be meaningful.
  2. The flow of thoughts to readers.
  3.     Using enough words in the sentences to understand the meaning of sentences.

3.   Mistakes  made during solving the problems:
  1. Confused with connecting words while framing the sentences.
  2. Confused while shifting from one image to other image.

Applied this concept while forming the new sentence. I was using so many words in a sentence, and now using how much words required writing a meaningful sentence.


5. Not  used in any other subjects till now.

CHAPTER- 4


1.        Learning’s from chapter:
  1.   Sentences contradict each other.
  2.  Linking the sentences to give meaningful flow of thoughts.
  3.   Connector words.
  4. Taking attention of listener.
  5.    Even punctuation marks also act as a connector


2.    Already learnt:
  1.   Connecting words between the sentences.
  2.  Short sentences.
  3.    Sentences should be easy to understand.
  4. Linking connector  helps to connect two or more sentence

3.Mistake made during solving the problems:
  1.  I confused with some of the answers
  2. Condensing connector and connecting words.
  3. Segmenting into smaller sentences. 

4 I understood that we should not use words repeatedly and minimizing the sentences.


5. While writing assignments in other subjects, this concept helped me. I have avoided the use words repeatedly. 

CHAPTER - 3

1. New things
 About Understanding.  The way of conveying the thoughts.

2. Things already known
  1.       1st Images comes to mind.
  2.      Images play major role in mind.
  3.        Clear sentences.


3. Mistakes while solving
 Confusion in using connectors while connecting the images. Linking the images with usage of connectors was not correct.

4. Starting I had made many mistakes later I have started to understand the sentences that I was about to write and the usage of sentences

5. While preparing power points I have applied this concept. If we understand what we are writing or telling only then we can convey our message clearly.

CHAPTER -2


  1. New things learned
  1.        Picture words and connecting words helps to write a single sentence.
  2.       Sentence it express thoughts to others and make understand in simple way.
  3.      Connecting words not only connect the words but connects the next sentences .


  2. Things already known
  1.        Connectors used by everyone to express thoughts more clearly.
  2.       Without connectors sentence cannot be completed.
  3.        Connecting words gives detail about the situation.


 3 Mistakes made during solving the problems
  Words given are easy, but while making sentences little confusing.

  4. I have connected the picture words to the connecting words in blog.
  5.  This concept used in my other subjects at the time of presentations .Easily understand   audiences.


CHAPTER 1

1. New things learnt
  1.      There are  two main parts in grammar
  2.       Noun, pronoun, verb, etc. are not considered in forming words.
  3.        Even through pictures we can communicate others.
  4.       Two parts of grammar are picture word and connecting word.
  5.       Pictures are the best way to express feelings.
  6.        Connecting word does not have any images.


  2. Things already known:
  1.       Noun, pronouns are not used practically.
  2.       Pictures exhibit different perceptions.


3. Mistakes made during solving the problems
a.      Connecting words does not exist pictures, it becomes little difficult to understand.
b.      The images that describe our feelings but listing details confusing.

 4. After explaining the concept, I used pictures to explain about the topic in simple way. . I have     applied the concept of picture word.


5.  Same thing I have done in communication more than sentences I have used pictures for the presentations .Helps audience for easy understand.
